Austin Bridge & Road

Ranger Excavating is performing the clearing, pond excavation, excavation and embankment, and “Type C” base installation for the project. “Type C” is a special crushed limestone product similar to road base. The project includes over 500,000 CY of excavation including over 100,000 CY of 13,000 psi rock. In addition, Ranger’s M.E. Ruby, Jr. quarry is supplying over 140,000 tons of MSE wall backfill material to the project.

Granite Construction/JD Abrams

Ranger Excavating is performing the clearing, pond excavation, excavation and embankment, and “Type C” base installation for the project. “Type C” is a special crushed limestone product similar to road base.

Parmer Lane North Extension
Chasco Contracting

We were contracted to perform the clearing, excavation, and embankment for this 4.1 mile road project in Williamson County. The project consists of over 325,000 CY of excavation and embankment. Most of the project is in rock, with cuts of up to 30 feet.

McNeil Road Phase II
Williamson County

Ranger Excavating is the prime contractor on this $8 million 2 mile road improvement project. The project includes the excavation and disposal of over 200,000 cy of waste lime.

Pflugerville Reservoir and Pfluger Lane Realignment
City of Pflugerville

Ranger won the contract to construct the 400,000 CY earthen embankment and spillway structure. In addition, our contract included the relocation of 1.2 miles of Pfluger Lane and a contract to place 230,000 CY of lot fills in the RMD subdivision just north of the reservoir.

Blockhouse Creek Reclamation Project

The Blockhouse Creek Flood Plain Reclamation project includes widening two channels, constructing four detention ponds, raising the adjacent fields out of the flood plain and installing seven bores under the railroad tracks.

Parmer Lane Extension – FM 1431 to CR 272
Williamson County

This was Ranger's third section of Parmer Lane. Ranger previously completed the extension of Parmer Lane from I35 east to Harris Branch and subsequently the extension from Harris Branch east to US 290.
