Leander ISD Middle School #6
American Constructors

Middle School #6 is the first phase of a giant high school/middle school/athletic complex in Leander. The job includes all the site work necessary for the middle school and a 100,000 CY detention pond for the fully developed site.

Dell Childrens’ Medical Center – Central Texas
White Construction

White Construction contracted Ranger to demolish the runways at the old Austin Mueller Airport site and then dig a 30 foot deep 160,000 CY basement for the future hospital. The mass excavation had to be completed in 30 calendar days. A challenging part of the project was salvaging the runway asphalt and base for reuse onsite as new parking lot base and wall backfill. Ranger completed its work on schedule and is now working on the crushed limestone base installation, curb and gutter, and asphalt paving.

Querencia Barton Creek
SpawGlass

Querencia is a retirement community in the rolling hills of Barton Creek west of Austin. The project consisted of a deep basement and underground parking in an environmentally sensitive area. The depth of the excavation exceeded 35 feet in the basement.
